The final stages of a 20 year, £4million restoration of a 135 hectare former colliery site. Work included infrastructure improvements, gateway features and a site management plan. Responsibilities include co-ordination of a range of consultants, financial management of a complex funding package, and creation of a 25 year management plan that tackled challenging ecological, landscape and community issues as well as providing a future vision for the site.
