Change your IP Well there is two types of IPs, your LAN version, and the WAN Version. The Lan version is within your home before the router and/or Modem. (Example: 192.168.X.X) The WAN version is behind the Modem towards the Internet (68.48.x.x) Before trying any other methods to change your IP address, try turning off (or unplugging the power of) your Cable/DSL modem for five minutes.
