Two Stroke The two stroke engine is very different from the four stroke engine. The two strokes main difference is that it only uses two strokes of motion to convert fuel into mechanical power rather than the four strokes used in the Otto Cycle engine. The two stroke also gets more power because each revolution of the crankshaft produces a power pulse. It uses only two strokes of motion and gets more power strokes because of it.
