Artist Statement “Germaine Austin‘s artwork comes from a source deep within her. Her ability to draw came very easily to her when she was young and feel’s she’s naturally “gifted” as an artist. From her grandmother, a pastel artist to her aunt, a Graphic Artist working in the city of Chicago and finally to her father, a self-taught architect, her talent came from her relatives.
