HULL WASPS | OUR HISTORY HULL WASPS are now a National League basketball club, developed from the original Hull Stingers Basketball Club, established in 1961. The club began at Newland Youth Centre and is now one of the longest established basketball clubs in the country. The senior teams have had great success over the years including achievements of 7 championships and tournaments at senior level, and various other achievements at youth level.
