Are two parents needed?

In my personal opinion I'd say no they don't. But it really is down to you and your own beliefs as to whether or not both parents are needed in a child’s life. I was raised by my mother, saw my father a little but he preferred his new 'adopted' kids more than me and now thinking about it I would have been better off if he had left before I had realised what was going on.
