Turkey

Turkey 9th October 2008 Turkey is fantastic. We arrived by ferry into Marmaris, on the West coast, and were amazed at how European the landscape was. Everything was much greener than Egypt or Greece, and the pine trees and rolling mountains reminded me of the Austrian countryside, not at all what we were expecting. We got straight on a bus to Selcuk (said Sell-chook), six hours drive north, because we'd heard Marmaris was very touristy.
