South India Although South India was pretty far from Gurgaon, I managed to go there twice during the six months I spent in India. My first trip was a birthday treat - a holiday in Goa and Kerala. The second time, I went to Mumbai and Goa for Christmas. It takes two hours to fly from Delhi to Mumbai, about another two hours from Mumbai to Goa and then it's a 17-hour train ride from Goa to Kerala.
