About the Directress Karen Black's interest in Montessori Education began when all three of her children attended Montessori Schools. While living in London, England in 1997 she earned her A.M.I. primary diploma from The Maria Montessori International School where she studied with people from all over the world. In addition, she holds a M.A. from NYU in Theatre Education and undergraduate work in Dance & Music from the University of South Florida.
