Foraging

One thing that I've only started doing since being in Austria that I've really enjoyed is hunting for mushrooms in the summers. Chanterelles grow wild in the southern part Austria, where we used to live and where the high meadow and cabin are, and Christoph and his family have been mushrooming forever. There are also other kinds of mushrooms around, but so far the only ones we totally trust ourselves to find without mistake are the chanterelles.
