Website launched - emoticon free zone

My new blog is hereby launched. I'm using it to practice my writing. I'll try to be brief. Being in my fifties and pretty active, I guess I've gotten to be a little fixated on getting the most out of my body that I possibly can. I play a few team sports with mostly younger people and I want to contribute to having good competitive matches, if not actually winning.
