Central and South Asia South Asia refers to the political entities of the geographical region of the Indian subcontinent. The countries include are India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan, Sri Lanka and the Maldives while Central Asia is a central region of Asia, spanning the Caspian Sea in the west to central China in the east, and from southern Russia in the north to northern India in the south.
