TEMPLE RITUALS OF THARAVADU

The temple rituals conducted in olden days are VARAM (to be compleated) VECHU NAMASKARAM Done in the Malayalam month of Thulam. This is usually conducted for the purpose of removing all the evil effects of all family members. Usually it is conducted after the Athazhapooja. Dakshina is offered to senior Bhramin (Bhattathiripad and above). Then they chant the manthras and claps hand to remove the evil effects.
