Waldo District Camporee

We recently hosted our own camporee. We had a great turnout, 175 people preregistered, and over 300 attended, from 26 troops. That is HUGE!! We were not expecting anywhere near that many people. At the camporee we offered several merit badges, such as: emergency preparedness and first aid. We also offered archery and hawk throwing. To add to that we had a 7 mile hike to the top of Mt. Waldo, once the scouts reached the top, they could finish the final requirements for the emergency preparedness… More information...
