Why I stopped reading newspapers?

As a child my father used to always ask me to read newspapers to know what is happening in the world. It was a focal source of news to us until my friend introduced "The Internet" to me. You have to agree it changes your perspective towards things, the way you look for things, the way you interact with people and even the way you purchase or even sell.
