Chasing tigers in Darjeeling

It’s 3am and the alarm rings. Then again at 3.10am. At 3.20am, we finally make the move from warm bed to cold room. Outside is completely dark, cold and frosty. We meet an English couple in front of our hotel and by the way we get down to the jeep stand, it’s 9 of us. With fair amount of difficulties, we bargain the price down from 100 Rupees to 80 per person, which is still inflated by the “white-skin-tax”.
