Magical town of Bundi

We got to Bundi by mistake, or rather, because of two Spanish guys. Standing on the bus stop in Pushkar, we were heading to Ajmer and then Jaipur. Two Spanish guys boarded the same bus to Ajmer and we started talking. “We are planning to go to Bundi, not sure why, but we just don’t fancy busy Jaipur”, they told us. “Well, we don’t either but what’s in Bundi?” The “holy” book for travelers, Lonely Planet, described it as “effortlessly charming Indian town you wish you stumbled upon first”.
