Japan’s finance minister Shoichi Nakagawa is facing calls for his resignation after he appeared to be drunk at a news conference following meetings at this weekend’s G7 summit in Italy. While Nakagawa apologized for his behavior he blamed his intoxicated appearance on cold medication that he was taking at the time.
