Team Challenge a huge success!
There is a buzz amongst the club members following the huge success of the Team SJ Challenge in Barnadown last Sunday. A great atmosphere combined with good team spirit from all of the clubs involved meant everyone had a really enjoyable day. Roll on the winter league and all competitions to follow… Read more
Winter Show Jumping league
Its all over!! Sat the 12th saw an end to a fantastic Winter SJ League. Mulled wine and mince pies amongst rosettes and lots of prizes sent all involved home with Christmas cheer!! Two lessons to-night, crowds are getting bigger! We were quickly down to one layer of clothes (most of us!) as Sue had us working hard. Holding hands, colliding at the canter and going home to practice what we were told to do would sum it up!! Eight of us enthuastic jockeys were mounted and ready to go at 7.45PM. Charity Pairs Challenge!
What a day, the sun shone, nobody came a cropper and the catering was second to none!! A very competitive days jumping with all sorts of bending of the rules, AI's jumping as AP's, passing the whip in the wrong spot, jumping the last fence first and some even skipping a jump or two!! Waterford Horse Trials
The sun shone yet again for the fourteen Barrow Valley members who travelled to Ballinaclough for the first of the Hoofprints Horse Trials league. Some came home with rosettes but Mary came home with her purse well and truly emptied thanks to the irresistable photography of Hoofprints!!… Read more
