It is narrated that The Messenger of Allah SAWS said, “A Muslim never gives a fellow Muslim a better gift than wisdom through which Allah SWT increases him in guidance or turns him away from harmful behaviour.” Al-Bayhaqi

Al-Hamdulillah, we are a loose-knit group of people dedicated to the propagation of traditional Islam, largely in the counties of North Lincolnshire, North East Lincolnshire and Lincolnshire in the UK. We believe that through our own dedicated Islamic learning and development we can help others who are new to Islam or returning to Islam.

In this capacity, we offer a proven pathway for new and existing Muslims to tread that is true to Islamic aqeedah (creed) and fiqh (jurisprudence), and that allows people to develop at their own pace with holistic care and support.

We arrange events and meetings to facilitate the assimilation of new Muslims into the local Ummah.

We provide advice and counsel in an Islamic framework and environment, in matters of both deen (Islamic way of life or religion) and dunya (the material).

We continually endeavour to develop our own knowledge and practice through ongoing and consistent learning, which can then be deployed to assist others, insha Allah.

It is also narrated that The Messenger of Allah SAWS said, “A person who teaches goodness to others while neglecting his own soul is like an oil lamp, which illuminates others whilst burning itself out.” At-Tabarani

We aim to inculcate the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah in our internal and external daily lives and encourage others to do so by following the example and character of the Messenger of Allah SAWS and the Salafiyyah RA.

Our group consists of Brothers and Sisters from a wide range of backgrounds and of different ages.

We do not operate as a formal organisation with rules or plans.

First and foremost, we consider ourselves to be simply Muslims before we belong to any school or sect.

It is narrated that a cousin of Hazrat Ali RA once asked him, Who is better, you or Abu Bakr RA?” Ali RA answered, “Abu Bakr RA.” And when asked the same questions about Umar RA, he answered, “Umar RA.” He then asked him, “What rank do you have?” Ali RA said, “I am a Muslim among many.”

We honour scholars, respect our elders and practice compassion for our youth, and maintain an Islamic teacher-student relationship within our group between those who deliver learning and those undertaking learning.
